Goat Rearing
Initially, Muntada Aid provide five animals (goats) to farmers in rural communities in Niger.
Besides receiving the animals, farmers also acquire basic training to look after goats. We quarterly check on families to see how they are doing and how we can further help their economic situation if needed.
How You Can Help? £325 - Will provide a farming family with 5 goats.
Why Goat Rearing?
Goats are excellent animals for more challenging climates and are relatively low-maintenance livestock. They offer an excellent alternative source of income that is reliable year-round.
Goats have short reproduction cycles allowing for plenty of opportunity for breeding and providing a vital source of income for farmers, who can sell their milk, meat, butter, and hides for profit.

Seamstress Training
We are providing six-month long training in tailoring to women in Niger. At the start of the training we provide women with sewing machines to help them train and establish their business.
How You Can Help? £180 - Will provide 6 months training and a sewing machine for one person.
