Bringing Extra Help Where It's Needed Most
September 2026, Muntada Aid will be taking a deployment to Uganda. With your support, we will provide life-changing programmes across three key areas: orphan sponsorship, school meals, and education support.

Be part of our programme and help us unlock potential
Muntada Aid is on a journey to transform education at our partner schools in Africa. As well as building capacity, we provide free school meals to children at these institutions. We will be visiting the schools Muntada Aid helps and spending time with the children — gaining an insight into their day-to-day life.

Why School Meals?
Hunger affects learning — we're changing that
Over years of working with communities and leading education programmes across Africa, we have learned that millions of children go to school on an empty stomach. Research shows that hunger affects their concentration and ability to learn. Muntada Aid has a long history of building education infrastructure across Africa over three decades. Our ultimate aim is to cultivate better food habits and education standards at these institutions, helping build communities where future generations are healthy and skilled to meet the challenges of a fast-changing world.
Muntada Aid, in partnership with Buraq Educational Trust, is providing modern primary education to 300 children on the outskirts of Uganda. The school has three nursery classes educating children from 3 to 6 years, and a primary section teaching over 190 children. All children are taught English, Maths, Sciences, History and Social Sciences, alongside other subjects recommended by the government's national curriculum. Sports and nutritious food are a fundamental part of the programme, with a full football and track-and-field offering.
